Level 1 Instructor Class Details

Basic requirements include...

1. US Sailing Individual membership- https://www1ussailing.org/mem/default.aspx

2. Register for a First Tack account and choose the TCFO course. Complete the 90 min class.

3. Register for the Online Level 1 Instructor course-https://www1.ussailing.org/Enrollment/ViewPrereq.aspx $175

4. Register for the In-Person Level 1 course at ASC (April 11-13). You can register for this right after registering for the online.class. 5. Boater Safety Course- Boater Safety certificate must be NASBLA approved. 

6. CPR/First Aid/ AED training- must be completed for certification to be active.
