Augusta Sailing Club’s Annual Light the Lake Parade
“Lights of Hope, Rebuilding Together”
Come celebrate the season with an enchanting evening of sparkling sailboats, delicious food, and festive fun for the whole family. This year’s event honors the resilience and unity of our community as we rebuild and shine brighter together after the challenges of Hurricane Helene.
Dinner- $15/adult, $8/youth <13 Boat Parade/Skipper Registration- $20
Event Highlights
- Dinner at 4:30 PM: Hearty winter vegetable stew, mac & cheese bar, s’mores, warm apple-cranberry punch, and hot chocolate. Please bring a dessert to share!
- Kids’ Parade at 5:30 PM: Young ones can decorate wagons, bikes, scooters, or even their outfits with holiday lights, tinsel, and ornaments to parade their creations. Creativity encouraged!
- Boat Parade at 6:15 PM: Watch sailboats adorned with twinkling holiday lights as they glide across the lake.

- 5:30 PM: Kids’ Parade
- 5:45 PM: Skippers Meeting
- 6:15 PM: Boat Parade
- 7:30 PM: Awards Ceremony (including the Kid’s Choice Award!)
