Adult Sailing Class

Thank you for your interest in Adult Sailing. Classes typically run Saturday and Sunday, 9am-4pm in the spring-fall.
Students will sail individually on Sunfish, one person boats about 13 feet long. This is a learn-to-sail beginner class, which involves classroom and on the water instruction. Sailing is a physical sport. Students must be able to easily maneuver and must have enough upper body strength to pull themselves out of the water and onto a boat. Students are expected to bring their own life jacket, lunch, water, towel, sunblock, and change of clothes as they will get wet.  Class size is 6-8 students with the age typically 16+. However, exceptions can be made for youth registered with their parents or older siblings. We currently have a waitlist for the upcoming season.
