MC Scow
The Melges MC is the largest, most popular one-design fleet in North America. The scow design maximizes speed yet provides unmatched stability. There are more than 100 active fleets nationwide. At 16 feet, it can be sailed single handed or with a single crew.
PHRF
Performance Handicap Racing Fleet (PHRF) is a handicapping system used for yacht racing in North America. It allows dissimilar classes of sailboats to be raced against each other. The Augusta Sailing Club PHRF Fleet competes year round and is one of our more active fleets.
Juniors
ASC Juniors compete a number of classes that include the C420, Sunfish, Open Bic and Laser. Junior Sailing is nearly year round starting in April and ending in November. For more information about Junior Sailing go to ascjuniors.org
