Thank you to all our amazing volunteers that made Halloween Regatta such a successful event. With lots of planning and teamwork, we were able to host over 90 sailors, as well as their families, in a safe and fun environment. Bob and Sharon Harkrider, Bob Kaltenbach, and the rest of race committee did an incredible job running some impressive races. Brett Gorrell and his kitchen volunteers were unbelievable, plating over 200 meals. Our check-in volunteers made sure everyone's temps were checked and sail numbers correct, making things easier for our awesome scoring team. The grounds and beach looked beautiful from Jack and all our clean-up and decorating volunteers. It was absolutely beautiful seeing everyone pitching in to help. Thank you to all of you, and thank you to all our sponsors and contributors that helped make this a great event: Georgia Outdoor Services, Clearly Pressure Washing, Jaime Putnam Realtor, Claffey Printing Company, Marjorie Brosseau Realtor, the Frame Shoppe, J8ta, Augusta Coca Cola, Augusta Sailing Foundation, and Costco.
The regatta shirts came out great. Several people have asked if they could order more. If you did not get a chance to order a shirt, now is your chance. Scroll down to see the different types. Some of the favorites were the sweatshirts and the ladies hooded pullovers, as well as the men and ladies specialty shirts (tri-blend hooded shirts).
Thank you all again for all the support and encouragement. Please make sure to register for the upcoming Annual Dinner Meeting and Reception, as well as the Fall Series. Just click on the events on the calendar to register.
Look forward to seeing you all soon,
