Directions from Atlanta

I-20 East to Appling, GA. Exit.    Take US 221 (State 47) through Appling,    (Road forks to right)   Follow US 221 to Pollard’s Corner (approximately 15 miles from I-20)    Through the intersection with Washington Rd    (state 104)   Sailing Road is the first left (Gravel) road past Lake Springs/Tradewinds Marina Recreation area.  1.25 miles to gate.   Note:  We are approximately 2 miles west of Lake Thurmond Dam.   If you cross the Dam you have gone too far.

Directions from Columbia

I-20 West to Augusta, GA exiting at the Riverwatch Parkway Exit [exit 200]   Turn right on River Watch Parkway and go through three traffic lights to Furys Ferry Rd. (state route 28)   Turn right on Furys Ferry Rd. and go approximately 17 miles to the very small town of Clarks Hill.   Just through town, turn left on US 221 towards Lake Thurmond Dam. Proceed past the visitors center and cross the dam.   Note:  We are approximately 2 miles west of Lake Thurmond Dam.   Watch for Sailing Road    It is the third road on the right (gravel) past the Dam.   If you see the sign for "Tradewinds Marina", you have passed Sailing Rd.

Directions from (the north) Anderson. SC

Proceed south on State route 28.   Shortly past Modoc SC. US 221 turns right. towards Lake Thurmond Dam. (28 goes straight to the village of Clarks hill)   Proceed past the visitors center and cross the dam.   Note:  We are approximately 2 miles west of Lake Thurmond Dam.   Watch for Sailing Road.   It is the third road on the right (gravel) past the Dam.   If you see the sign for "Tradewinds Marina", you have passed Sailing D.

Directions from (the northwest) Athens A.

Proceed south on US route 78. to Washington A. taking the by pass to the east.   South of Washington (1 mi)watch for State 47 on the left.   Take State 47 through Linconton to Pollards corner.   Turn left (east) on US 221.   Sailing Road is the first left (gravel) road past Lake Springs/Tradewinds Marina Recreation area.  1.25 miles to gate.   Note:  We are approximately 2 miles west of Lake Thurmond Dam.   If you cross the Dam you have gone too far.
